Your expertise in business and marketing combined with an intimate knowledge of real estate from the vantage points of an investor, developer and broker have benefited us immensely. "Cynthia, it has been a pleasure working with you! Working with a real estate broker as strong, respectful, and time-willing as you are is hard to beat. This is a great property and a great investment for your clients."
Adam Davis, American Commercial Mortgage
"She´s a natural because she knows the business so well. She knows the inventory and unlike most agents, knows how to create opportunities for her clients."
"Thanks so much for all you have done for us this year. Your patience and endurance are a testament to your character and a blessing to us, as to all you serve."

Cynthia has owned her own multi-million dollar advertising agency and co-created a $26mm toy "Flying Fighters," sold to Hasbro as their top toy line in 1989. When she relocated to the Pacific Northwest, she published autographed sports lithographs and serigraphs featuring top drawer athletes: Joe Montana, Nolan Ryan, Ken Griffey Jr. and Sr., Fred Couples and Steve Largent. Her first real estate investments in the Olympia area were made with her good friend, Tim Abbey, Broker, Abbey Realty Inc. She loved working with Tim during the acquisition of several salt waterfront homes and decided to try her hand at real estate. Her friend and broker said:
The common thread in her diverse career has been an uncanny ability to "read the market" to determine how best to position a property or concept, price it, promote it and sell it. Cynthia treats her clients objectives and properties with care and diligence. A fundamental goal in every transaction is to make the process stress-free and fun.
Cynthia is married to the love of her life, David Kettel. They have two children at home, Tyler and Hunter plus three grown children. Jeremy, our eldest, works as an Associate in the business, Meagan is a student pursuing a legal career and Jordan is serving his country in the United States Coast Guard.

Specializing in:
New Construction – Residential & Commercial
David Kettel began his career selling real estate to support his schooling. He graduated with a degree from Washington State University in Veterinary Nutrition with minors in chemistry and physics. David spent twenty years working with animals until his desire to spend more time with his family conflicted with his corporation´s travel requirements in the ever-declining agricultural business. David determined to re-invent his life with his wife and children and began selling real estate with his wife, which was a return to a business he´d relied on to put himself through college. While studying the Thurston County market, David discovered a need for moderately priced custom construction and upscale remodels. He launched a new business that has successfully built custom homes, duplexes and commercial buildings in every price range from $50,000 - $650,000.
David´s first duplexes in Tumwater set a record high for selling price and a record rental income for the investors who purchased the units. All three of his first duplexes were sold before construction was completed. David accepts a limited number of new projects each year to assure his own personal attention to detail applied to every aspect of a new project.

Dr. Dave and Karen Warwick are customer-service specialists and excellent communicators dedicated to helping you achieve your next reality in real estate.
After running a successful healthcare practice for 10 years on Seattle's Eastside, Dr. Dave was contacted by the Department of Defense to help expand a newly developed and much needed chiropractic program at Madigan Army Medical Center. He has received numerous customer service awards and recognitions since he joined Madigan's healthcare team in early 2007. The underlying theme of his patient care lies in taking care of the patient's needs first. This transfers to his real estate practice as Dr. Dave puts the needs of his real estate clients first, listening carefully, being available for questions.
After moving to Olympia in 2007, Dr. Dave and Karen quickly made Olympia their new home, enjoying many of the city's outstanding activities and events with their daughter. Knowing that Olympia is a great place to raise a family, as well as understanding the needs of people moving to Olympia who may be unfamiliar with the area, Dr. Dave and Karen are focusing on residential relocation, specifically in the Cooper Point area of Olympia's Westside. Residents of Cooper Point themselves, Dr. Dave and Karen are knowledgeable about the area and all the great benefits it provides to individuals and families looking for a great place to call home.
Together the Warwick team will help you light the way to your next real estate reality!

May O’Hara is our terrific transaction coordinator. She has worked for Cynthia Kettel since October, 2003. Her previous work experience includes seven years with Washington State Employees Credit Union as a Mortgage Loan Officer where she processed, underwrote, and serviced mortgage loans. She left her position to be a stay-at-home mom but was recruited by Continental Mortgage (now Homestreet Bank) to work as an on-call processing assistant for six years. After that, she started her own business as an office assistant and worked in the Construction Loan Dept. at South Sound Bank and still provides her services when they are requested. Another client of hers has been Wells Fargo Escrow where she worked on-call for approximately one year.
"I have worked in almost every aspect of the real estate lending process. Working at Lighthouse Real Estate, Inc. rounds out my education by providing me with the experience of working from the agent’s part of the transaction." May is a valuable asset to the realtors and theirclients as she is impeccably organized and detail oriented.

The Lighthouse
David and Cynthia have chosen a lighthouse as their corporate logo. The lighthouse is a dependable, shining sentinel guiding seafarers through mist, fog, darkness and threatening storms, a directional beacon even in fair weather. These structures have withstood the test of time and the Kettel couple believe long-lasting friendships function like lighthouses through the challenges of life. "Many of the same qualities that have endeared these national treasures to collectors are attributes we cherish as we navigate our business and personal lives."
